Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Susquehanna Township

This is our second time staying at Jillian’s home. It is so lovely and perfect for our family to rest between Thanksgiving holiday activities. It’s located extremely close to Hersheypark, it is clean and organized, and there are thoughtful items in the house for kids and dogs. We absolutely LOVE staying here!

We had a fabulous time. There were many toys for the kids. We appreciated the sleeping options and loved that there were two king beds. They also left some snacks for us. It was only 30 minutes from whitetail resort which felt manageable.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautifully decorated, nice and clean, and there was a cute little toy area 😊.

This house is beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Trina is an attentive host who cares about her guests' stay. Our family of six adults and three children visited during Christmas week. We had asked Trina if we could put up a tree. She initially said yes, and a few days later she messaged me that she put one up for us, saving me a lot of holiday stress! The space is large yet cozy. We spent most of our time in the large kitchen, dining, and family room area, but there was also lots of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our holiday meals. The beds were so comfortable! The bathrooms were spotless! We enjoyed many soaks in the relaxing saltwater hot tub which easily fits six adults. We’ve been renting different houses for the holidays for about five years, and this one was voted the best. To quote my three-year-old grandson, “Grandma, this Christmas house is beautiful.”

This home is more amazing than the pictures show. We had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Our host was very supportive and helpful in accommodating our needs. My family will definitely be staying at this location in the future.

Our family stayed here for a night during an educational visit. Debbie was very welcoming and helpful. The vibe of the space is more of a youth retreat set up, instead of an apartment type, but that was perfect for our kids and this visit to Gettysburg. We didn’t get to explore the grounds but the area was so peaceful and beautiful. One thing that stood out as exceptional was the tremendous number of blankets, pillows and towels available. There was WELL over the number needed to accommodate people staying. Normally, places have just barely enough, but Debbie’s place far exceeded our expectations in this area. Definitely worth staying here!

It was a great place for our family to stay when we visit the Pottsville area. I am sure we will be back sometime in the future.

We had the best time staying here! The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and we felt right at home in our own private space. Sonia and Dave were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed getting to chat with them and see their beautiful farm. We hope to come back for another visit sometime as we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!

Absolutely loved staying here. Felt right at home from the moment I got in. Amber was so responsive and the place was so clean and peaceful. Catawissa is a little hidden gem

Extremely convenient to restaurants and walkable to the main area of town. Listing was accurate and honest (older building, which was absolutely fine, as it's explained in the listing that it's historic). Good value.

We had a wedding nearby- the space was beautiful, clean and quiet. The host very friendly and reachable!

Lisa's place is cozy and roomy. The size was perfect for two. Though I didn't cook anything, the kitchen and full size fridge was great with counter space for prepping our snacks. Water temperature was nice and hot for showering and washing dishes. The place was clean with a nice array of coffee, snacks, utensils and cooking pots and pans, dishes and supplies. The area is wonderful in the heart of farmland, close to outlets, not far from Lancaster city and great restaurants like Greenfield Inn and the Brasserie. We even were lucky enough to see the field of yellow daffodils within a short walking distance. Lisa does a great job with communication. I hope to come back again. Thanks for providing a nice place to visit while in town seeing my family and friends.

Michele provided all the necessary details very promptly. she also checked in regularly to make sure everything was good. I would certainly stay at Ohana Resort when next in Hummelstown.

Perfect for a last minute one night stay. Thoughtfully has a noise machine in the bedroom as that window is right on the road so you might occasionally hear cars passing by. Easy to get inside, kitchen had what I needed. Close to Lancaster where I had to go the next day.

A great spot for a weekend away! Walking distance to many restaurants & the convenience of coming and going is very nice. It is a little noisy if someone is staying upstairs so the sound machines are very helpful, much appreciated from the host!

We had an amazing stay at Missy’s Airbnb in the Historic Firehouse ‘The Upper Room.’ The pictures don’t do this place justice—it’s even more beautiful in person and looks like it was decorated by a professional interior designer. The space was spotless and thoughtfully appointed with so many small touches that made it feel special, from the candy bars in the kitchen to the bath salts for the tub. Missy’s communication and instructions were clear and made everything seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying here again in the coming months. Highly recommend!

Clean, well equipped, good parking. You could hear the people next door talking but in the bedroom it was super quiet and peaceful. Parking is convenient, string is rural and peaceful. Great hosts and accommodating. Would stay again!

I have stayed here in the past- great location and never disappoints.

That's a really neat apartment, Actually me and my girl. We both brought up that we both could easily live in this apartment. It just had a really good vibe. If a bathroom it could be a RockStar, then this bathroom is Mick Jagger!!!! . Glass door walk and shower two shower heads.. With plenty of room for both so . The only problems I had it was, I couldn't get the Tv too. Do you make any type of connection with any link. And the air conditioner in the second bedroom with the electric bed was put into lock mode. .. , when I first arrived to the apartment, it was warm enough to break a sweat. There was also a ceiling fan that were just fine. I wasn't a big fan of that room. Anyways, so it wasn't a big deal. And the rest of the air conditioners and the apartment worked perfectly.

Our stay was immaculate! The home was so cozy. It was perfect for our night. To be honest I spent most of my time admiring all the house plants and the little details of the place. The artwork is beautiful. Totally recommend staying here. Can’t wait to go back !

Really lovely clean space.

This was such a great stay and was able to run into Val on our last day and she was so kind! Some things that stick out in a good way - the privacy of the backyard, the candy bowl (nice touch!), so many soft blankets, ample towels, and the couch that turns into an incredibly comfy bed! The apartment is well-maintained, exceptionally tidy, and very inviting and cozy. We hope to visit soon, and we would recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in an amazing place :)
