A self contained hilltop retreat with stunning panoramic rural views. The Pink Tower is a wooden octagonal building attached to the owners cottage on a working farm (pigs, sheep, arable). Set a quarter of a mile along the ancient OxDrove renowned for beautiful walks, it is situated right on the borders of Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.
“The Pink Tower is a haven set amongst absolutely stunning chalk downs and fields. The pictures do not do it justice - the space is so inviting and it was wonderful to have breakfast on the balcony each morning and listen and watch the house martins. Cannot recommend this place enough; we had an amazing stay and Linda was a fantastic and accommodating host who pointed out some good walks for us to do. This is a perfect retreat for those who wish to unwind and be immersed in nature in a really magical and quiet location. We will be back soon I hope.”
A unique detached riverside cottage near Salisbury and Stonehenge. Completely private with two double bedrooms and open plan living area downstairs. Surrounded by generous child and pet safe gardens. Stunning walks from the door, with local pub and cafe/shop easily accessible. This is my home where I live for some of the year. The space
“A perfect place to escape yet within easy reach of Salisbury. Everything was as described and Clare was easy to communicate with as needed. As we faced storm Dennis, Clare was flexible on the arrival and departure which took away any stress. The beds were comfy and the Rayburn comforting (and produced an amazing roast!); at night it is dark skies and the hoot of owls. When not enjoying the outdoors, you can enjoy Netflix or NOW TV. Unfortunately, you will have to leave at some point...”
A cosy, rural retreat in the beautiful Chalke Valley, just a 10 minute drive from the Cathedral City of Salisbury. Raglands Upper Mews is in the grounds of a family owned country house set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for getting away from it all and exploring the local countryside, Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and much more. Click my profile picture to view the larger property I host at the same location.
“The Mews house was perfect for the three of us: tidy and fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and enough space that we weren't on top of each other. The location is amazing for walking in Wiltshire and Dorset, with a lovely loop right outside the door. Jade was a generous and attentive host, and we would definitely recommend her place to anyone looking to stay in the area!”
