In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Relax in a beautiful setting with plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling and other outdoor sports. In addition to the beautiful nature, there is a lot of history to see (their bed within walking distance), and there are the necessary restaurants nearby. The accommodation is a 10-minute drive from Assen and features a private entrance, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and beautiful outdoor terrace. The stay is for 1-4 people and does not include breakfast. Welcome to our guesthouse. In Tynaarlo you will find peace and space. There are plenty of cycling and hiking opportunities in this beautiful area. You will stay in a cozy guesthouse with a bathroom and kitchenette including fridge and induction hobs. The silence and the lovely bed will help you start a new day rested. You can use our large natural garden behind the house. It is wonderful to sit by the pond with the storks in the background.

Our small chalet lies in the middle of the most beautifull nature of the Netherlands: the National Park of the Drentsche Aa and the Unesco Geopark of the Hondsrug, on a very quiet camping. It is furnished light and harmonious. The house is suitable for couples and singles, not for children. Overnight stay with 2 persons maximum. No pets. Non smoking (except on the terrace).
