Nana's Cabin is located on a private pond 4 miles from downtown. This charming log home was built by local builders for their mother. Guests can drive right to the front door. There is a full well equipped kitchen. Bathroom has tub w/shower, washer & dryer. One queen bed downstairs & a queen, a twin and 2 pull out beds upstairs. Note: The Denali National Park entrance is a 3 hour drive from Talkeetna! There is a 1/2 mile walking trail on the property and access to local bike and ski trails.

Red John’s cabin In 2017 Red Johns cabin was placed on Alaska’s 10 most endangered historic properties list by the AAHP. In 2018/2019 this adorable cabin was restored with help from Alaska’s Historic Preservation Fund.
