Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tamarin

a superb holiday in a faithful and comfortable rental. adapted and dunctional pool. Good hygiene and a verandah with ocean views. the furniture is in the theme of the island and gives a lot of charm to the stay. the only downside is the weak wifi in some rooms of the house, otherwise there is nothing to say. very good stay and the pool was a plus for all the family. The concierge is really great and responsive.

Our stay at Villa Mauridul was simply fantastic! The location is idyllic and perfect for relaxing. We were particularly impressed by the hospitality of Ambroise, who takes care of everything with a lot of heart. The kitchen was superbly equipped, so we were well taken care of. The garden with pool is beautifully maintained – a real paradise! The dogs Dolly and Gin are incredibly sweet and well-behaved. A special highlight were the giant tortoises, which we were able to experience up close. Ganech's food was delicious and unbeatable in price. There is hardly any criticism – the beds were a bit narrow, but still comfortable. On holidays and Sundays, the turtles may smell a little, but that didn't affect our stay. We felt completely comfortable and can fully recommend the villa.

We had a great stay at a very nice place. The rooms are very spacious, nicely equipped and the roof terrace is a real highlight! We used both the jacuzzi and pool and can recommend both. Flic en Flac is a lively place with restaurants and bars and good shopping. The supermarket jumbo in the village has good opening hours and a large offer. The location of the accommodation is great for the beach and many other activities also in other parts of the island. The bus station is right on the street next to the house, which is great for excursions. The landlords and also the security staff are very very nice, helpful and always available. We had a great time and would love to come back.

We stayed for a week at Harry and Malini's. The accommodation is very well located, close to the sea and shops. I have nothing else to say, our week was excellent! Thanks to them for hosting us and for their kindness.

The location in the middle of the national park is fantastic. Quiet and safe without a rental car, however, you can't get very far here. The house was much nicer than you could guess before and the perfectly furnished kitchen surprised us very much. We have never had such good amenities in an Airbnb Everything was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the time. The pool was pleasant and the air conditioners in the rooms worked very well. Only in the living area it was very warm, unfortunately you could not spend a longer time. Mosquito spray is highly recommended, but that applies to the whole island. Thank you for the great time.

Florian's house perfect to me and my friend! We had a absolutely pleasant 2 weeks here. The house is in a quiet street, like a villa place, pure living area. Means not many restaurants nearby, but there is a perfect kitchen with all necessary equipments, we can cook whatever we want. The house not far from the center of Port Louis as well as big malls. It’s convenient for stay. I highly recommend this place and definitely will book again if I come to Mauritius in the future.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights and it was fantastic. The property and the entire estate complex, in which the property is situated, is a delight. Mr. Roelf provided with very specific instructions for checking in and provided with necessary information. The amenities provided by him were amazing, including board games and tennis rackets and scooters to commute within the estate complex. It has a great tennis court. Now, specifically the situation of the property is such that it's overlooking the mountains and estate itself serves as a private yacht parking for individual houses. The view is beautiful even when you're simply relaxing at the private deck. The location point could serve as a central point for going either way to Tamarin,Le Morne,Casela Park,Seven Colored earth and Grand Bassin. There are a couple of supermarkets within 3 kms range. The only missing thing was a water purifier for drinking water at the property. Rest all was great. Overall, a wonderful experience

My feeling when booking didn't fool me. Right in the middle of the atmosphere, between local living. Very nice and helpful family.

It was such a warm couple by these lovely couple who kept in constant touch with us from the time I booked their property. The location is extremely convenient. The stay was very comfortable. Highly recommend it!!! Thank you both 🙏

The house made our stay. It’s quite private and has lovely outside seating. A little paradise. Le Morne beach is a five minute walk, great for snorkling and swimming . You are facing due west so wonderful sunsets. The house was regularly cleaned by lovely Christine and Elizabeth the owner always responded to our requests. I can’t recommend it enough and we would definitely go back .

Set in a very quiet street and a very easy walk to the beach and shops. The main supermarket as Cascavelle is a 10 minute drive. The apartment is just as described and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a short or long term stay. There's plenty of space with a large dining area, well equiped kitchen with an added extra of a water filter jug. Beautifully decorated bedrooms, one with an en suite and also a large seperate shower and toilet for the other bedroom. The open plan lounge area has comfotable seating and a tv. There is a seperate breakfast bar by the kitchen hatch area. AC is available in the bedrooms and lounge. There is a small covered seating area outside. I was able to put my car inside the property. Wifi reception is very good. The property was spotlessly clean and I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you want easy access to many of the beautiful sights in the south of Mauritius. The stay was very nice. We were in Mauritius for the 3rd time and this was the best apartment so far. Karine and Catherine were always easily accessible. There was almost nothing to fault. Only the internet was not quite as good and always spun. But that's it. Thank you for the great time and we wish our hosts all the best.

We had a great time. The residence is well maintained and secure. The pool is very pretty and clean. Functional apartment with good bedding. Shops, beach and restaurants a few minutes walk.

Nienke is very responsive and will message to check in and make sure everything is going well. The place is huge, quiet, private with stunning views. I highly recommend if you are looking to spend a few nights in a quiet location in a safe neighbourhood. Access to the beach is not a walking distance though but would be ideal if you had your own transportation. Good access to the restaurants. I highly recommend this place. We had a fantastic stay at Ornella and Eric’s place! From the moment we arrived, Ornella was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. But the highlight was definitely the breathtaking view—waking up to it every morning was a dream! During our stay there was a cyclone warning , Ornella kept us updated with latest information, offering guidance and reassurance . Ornella was very sweet and kind, we truly appreciate her hospitality. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a wonderful host, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Wow! What a beautiful apartment in a truly wonderful location. Very well appointed, especially the kitchen which was great for us as we like to BBQ. A special mention for Pamela who is just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble.
