With quirky character & few mod-cons this is a place to be away from the TV, rest up & enjoy stunning nature on the doorstep. We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. Fibre WIFI very efficient. BBQ available. Maximum guest number is 3 including children/infants/babies.

Situated on a private 4ha rural property on the flanks of Mt Parakiore viewing the Whangarei Harbour, our new, stand-alone cottage is inviting guests to relax on the deck spotting our local Kahu flying by. Our self contained apartment is a leisurely 10 minute walk into the city town basin centre including the fabulous Hundertwasser museum. and right on the doorstep of lovely bush and river walks. This is a great place to explore Whangarei from or very handy if you are visiting for work. There is off street parking for your car and private access down 9 external stairs to the spacious unit. There is free unlimited WIFI .

Peaceful Garden Cabin

Our cabin is a cosy retreat set in our garden. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It is only 20 minutes from central Whangarei and 10 minutes from Kamo, Maungatapere and SH1 so if you are travelling it would be great a place to stay. Our garden cabin would be suitable for very good value medium to long term stays.
