It is on a lifestyle block in a semi-rural subdivision, half way between Motueka and Mapua, with Kaiteriteri, Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson, not much further away. You will need a car to get around. Romantic Getaway. The Caboose is a handcrafted replica of a train carriage, with a small private garden. Set on a half acre property next to our historic farmhouse, centrally located at the outskirts of Motupipi, at the eastern side of Golden Bay, only 5 minutes drive from the beach and 5 minutes from Takaka township. A relaxing space to retreat to after a day of exploring, Applegirth offers an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area; a separate bedroom with Single bed; a mezzanine level with Queen sized bed and a bathroom with shower over bath, and washer. A Sofa Bed in the lounge can also be utilised upon request. In the lounge is a music station , and selection of games. Outside on the verandah is a covered BBQ and seating area where you can relax and listen to the birdsong.
