The Studio

Welcome to my secluded, peaceful hideaway. The studio is a large open plan space. Large sliding doors completely open up the front of the building onto the deck, giving you a feeling of always being close to nature. Surrounded by trees, orchard, lawn and garden, the studio is a quiet retreat space. The sound of the sea and bird song are always in the background. It's 50m from our house and well hidden by trees, so you'll feel very private. The best beach in NZ is a 15 minute walk away!

Magnolia Cottage

Enjoy the quiet area. Listen to all the native birds, swim in the pool, take a walk in our lovely area, or simply relax in the spacious cottage with a drink. Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.

It is located close to the " viaduct basin " of Gisborne - Restaurants, Kaiti Hill, Museum, Cycleway, Beaches and a short 10 minute walk to the river and Gisborne CBD. Our Studio is private and centrally located - a great place to explore all our region has to offer, easily. The studio is perfect for couples, solo travellers and business travellers. Our place is newly built, behind a historic building, only metres from the beautiful Tokomaru Bay Beach. The facilities are all modern, with heat pump/air conditioning, acomodating 4 people with style, comfort and ease. One queen bed is in the lounge as a pull down/retractable and the second in a separate bedroom. Shower and toilet is an ensuite shared by all guests but accessed through the bedroom.
