Vacation rentals in Te Waipounamu / South Island

It was a perfect base for our two nights in Queenstown. We wish we could have stayed longer! The kitchen utensils were well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. Great parking in the garage for two cars. All round a nice setup with fantastic views.

Wow... That was our main word for this stay. The location and view was incredible. It instantly felt like a real relaxing getaway. We noticed some issues around cleanliness that I will share directly with the host so that they are aware, as this place deserves the best! The hot tub was an absolute highlight. Such a friendly and responsive host to chat to online. We had a fabulous time here and we definitely hope to return to this oasis on the hill!

Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Das Cottage ist abgelegen und bietet die Möglichkeit, dem Alltag und der Dynamik komplett zu entfliehen. Zudem hat man auch einen direkten Blick aufs Wasser. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und legen viel Wert darauf, dass man alles für seinen Aufenthalt hat. Vielen lieben Dank für diesen schönen Aufenthalt. :)

令人惊喜的湖边安静小屋！非常干净，一尘不染。原以为是比较简易的，但事实完全不是，餐厅和卫生间都非常现代化，东西很全，电磁炉烤箱洗碗机这些都有。房东留了面包牛奶和水果供住客DIY早餐，伴着湖景用餐，超棒！很适合用提供的自行车沿着湖骑行或者散步，我们还散步几分钟到了旁边的网红餐厅Boat Shed Cafe吃饭，结果发现景色还没民宿好！

We had an amazing stay at Savannah and Ash’s place! The home is modern, beautifully designed, and offers absolutely stunning views of the mountain range and Lake Wakatipu, truly picture perfect. And we checked in at the time of a beautiful Sunset 😍 It was easy to find, with clear instructions provided every step of the way, making check-in and navigating the property a breeze. The space was equipped with all the modern creature comforts you could ask for, making it a cozy and convenient retreat. The property is located in 5 minutes drive from city centre, which offer plenty of food options. Huge thanks to Savannah, Ash, and the team for creating such a wonderful experience, we’d love to come back!

Karen was an AMAZING host. Property was even better than expected with lots of extra amenity's which was lovely. Karen went over and above to make myself and my daughter comfortable and was so helpful from booking through to greeting us on arrival and even allowing us a late check out on day of departure.

Leon’s place is a neat and tidy house with all the essentials. It is well located in a very quiet spot only a minute or two drive from the town centre. May be one for asthma sufferers to avoid as house seemed to have a little bit of damp but that was not a problem at all for our group of five. It is an older style home in a very wet region so that’s not surprising. We had a good stay and Leon was very good on communication even letting us arrive a little early which we appreciated. We would recommend as a convenient base for exploring the Sounds.

Nice house conveniently located near the lake and at walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Te Anau. We liked the huge green park opposite the house where we played rugby with our sons! Wendy is friendly and helpful to give advices and make your stay going very smoothly! It is the proper place to stay and relax before and/or after the trip to the Milford Sounds.

Beautiful property, views are phenomenal. Everything is well thought out and perfect in this modern luxury home Highly recommend to all visiting Christchurch, NZ.
