Simple and beautiful - the Auvergne is worth it!

Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. Here you’ll find animals living freely, such as our two nice pigs, four woolly sheep, chickens, ducks and rabbits. Our four cats – Panthera, Schneepard, Marmor and Chaudchat – would love for you to come and stroke them! :)

Unusual

Troglodyte-style dwelling, the accommodation offers a direct view of the property's pond. Peaceful oasis, the quiet of the countryside without any neighbors in a rental equipped with all the comforts you need for your stay. Each room has a view of the pond. If you want to recharge your batteries, this is the place! Located 5 minutes from St Eloy Les Mines and Gorges de la Sioule. Fishing is allowed (equipment is not provided), according to the principle of no-kill fishing. Thank you.

Grands Rochers Gîte

In Châteauneuf-Les-Bains on the banks of the Sioule, one of the cleanest rivers in France, is our Gite de Grands Rochers. Nature plays the leading role in this unforgettable accommodation. Here is peace and space with a beautiful view over the river. The cottage is 32 m2, spread over two floors. Downstairs, the kitchen with dining area and a seating area with comfortable chairs and TV, French doors to a lovely terrace with stone BBQ. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom with toilet.

Explore the Sioule Valley on foot or by bike, and discover the beauty of the area, its water bodies and nearby ski resorts.

Charming and family-friendly mill

Beautiful mill from 1880, tastefully renovated in the Sioule Valley. This 205 m2 high-end cottage, fully equipped, is accessible by a 150 m path. Its 6000 m2 plot, where you can see the Château Rocher, runs along the Sioule River with direct access. Unique haven of peace to rest and reconnect with nature. It welcomes you with friends and family for many outdoor discoveries/activities. Cell phones have some reception in the entrance of the mill and otherwise outside.

Gîte de la Bise, in the heart of Auvergne

Le gîte de la Bise 💋 is a place suitable for families and friends who want to get together and spend festive or quiet time. It is located in a green setting, surrounded by the Combrailles countryside while being close to shops. We designed the place to be both relaxing and entertaining, with the house full of games and activities. Tiny house for 2, linen included - Noisette

Noisette is a small house for 2 people with all you need for a short or longer-term stay – a "safe haven" in the midst of rolling hills with a wonderful view. Bedroom with large bed (160x200 cm), air-conditioned). Private terrace with garden furniture (lounge chairs, parasol..). Equipped kitchen, walk-in shower in bathroom, hair dryer, linen, washing machine, elec. coffee maker, gas stove & oven. Parking just beside the house. Sorry, no pets.

Quiet house / pool / sauna / unobstructed view!

In the Sioule Gorges, about 500 meters from the river. Quiet, in its green setting. No neighbors nearby. The cottage is independent of the owners' home. It is an old house tastefully renovated: parquet, exposed stones, exposed framework. Beautiful view. It has a covered terrace, access to the (unheated) swimming pool from June to September. The sauna (wood-fired) is accessible all year round and promises you perfect moments of relaxation.

Yvonne's Home

Located in a peaceful setting in the heart of the countryside, you will stay in a fully renovated 1960s house with a wooded and fenced garden. This property has three bedrooms (two double beds and two single beds). We provide duvets, pillows and bath towels. BEDSHEETS ARE NOT PROVIDED. If you would like sheets to be provided, you will be asked for an additional €5 per bed (dimensions indicated after booking).
