Cottage vacation rentals in Teller County

The property is quaint and nostalgic yet very up-to-date in being well maintained and clean in all areas. The entry level cabins are small, but will accommodate a couple on holiday with all they need and modern accoutrements inside. The larger cabins will be a better choice if you have kids. The neighborhood is very quiet and you are within a stone's throw walking distance of breakfast and bar room evening entertainment with food as well. Easy driving distance to Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and just over a half hour from gold medal Colorado fishing in Deckers or 11 Mile canyon. Look forward to our next stay!

This is the top floor of a cabin-like building. The private hot tub was really nice. The location is lovely with access to the little town, hikes from the doorstep, and quiet mountain charm. The interior was clean and comfortable. The sink faucet was broken but usable, and Sherri and Alexandra were responsive. The exterior could use some TLC- things like leaking gutters that dripped cold water on us when walking to and from the entrance and sitting in the hot tub.

We loved staying here. It is exactly as described. While there were people in the lodge at the same time we were in the cottage, we couldn’t hear anyone. We felt secluded, very safe, and right at home. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed. We cooked some of our meals, did laundry and had a little downtime to just relax. The rooms were great size and the bathroom was a good size as well! Caitlin was very easy to communicate with when I had a question. I would highly recommend this cottage and if we come back to that area this is where we will be staying!

Stayed for our honeymoon and it was everything it needed to be and more. The home was private, comfortable with an amazing hot tub. It had perfect temp and was very well maintained, plus a nice grill to use for cooking! Can't beat that! From the living room to the loft, very comfortable spaces to relax. The kitchen was clean and equipped with your hearts content to cook! I could say so many other great things about this spot, but I gotta leave some room for the hosts. They made the experience great as well. Very friendly and responsive with great recommendations. Cannot wait to come back for our honeymoon! If you're thinking about staying, don't think twice! Such a beautiful place to stay while exploring the beautiful Colorado Springs!

I walked 10 minutes to get to my professional conference at the Broadmoor Hotel. It’s less expensive than the hotel rooms with more freedom and privacy, and with your own hot tub. I walked 15 minutes the other direction to a mountain canyon park, nature station, and a nice trail that follows a stream up the canyon. If you’re not a hiker, take any number of day trips by car to natural beauty and wonders. It’s in a pleasant wooded neighborhood with close neighbors on either side, but it feels very private. It has that rustic arts and crafts mountain cabin feel and is very clean and well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Deer were hanging out in the yard one day.

One of the best stocked places I’ve stayed! All the necessary kitchen supplies as well as cleaning. Lots of games and stuff to do, and the place is taken care of very nicely!

We brought our adult kids for a weekend away from it all and it celebrate my husband's birthday. The location of the home is great (we didn't leave the whole time). All kitchen tools and appliances made it easy to make all of our meals here. the hot tub was fabulous and so peaceful! Brittany was very responsive (very quickly) with the couple of questions I had sent. In addition, one of our family members left an item in the bedroom. Brittany was so helpful in making sure that item was shipped back to us right away! That was so appreciated! We would definitely stay here again, without hesitation!

Beautiful, off-grid cabin! My husband and I had such an amazing stay! Chris was awesome, proactively reaching out with great recommendations. We felt so at peace our entire stay! We even got snow one of our last days which made everything so magical! The beds were so comfortable, like a warm hug; we wanted to sleep all day! Everything was easy to use, including the off-grid toilet. Definitely would stay here again!

Me and my fiancé stayed the weekend to celebrate 420 and had a blast. Great location to Old Colo City, Pikes Peak, and other things around. I would recommend staying at James’ house.

We loved the picture window at the front the house that faces south and provides a view of the mountains. Julia was very responsive to any questions or issues we had and she provided some good local recommendations for things to do / places to eat. The internet was solid and we had no issues working remotely and the breakfast nook and family room worked out well for two of us needing work spaces. The mountain biking trail system in COS is incredible and massive - only two miles from the front door to Red Rock Canyon where you can access more trails than you (or at least I) could mange to explore all of in a month!

It was so convenient to the nursing home to visit and also to have a quiet place to relax and a secure fence!

This is the spot! Lovely spot and felt right at home. Friend was visiting and is a chef. We had everything we needed to make a meal. Walk right out the door for a night cap. Loved everything about this spot. Spaces were uniquely decorated and clear of clutter! Cool spot. I will be back!

Wonderful location! Walkable to downtown and a 5-15 minute drive to all of the other exciting places surrounding Colorado Springs. Very dog friendly and clean! Highly recommended to people with dogs who are looking for a quiet place near the old city!

Location, location, location! Loved being able to park the car for the stay and have downtown CO Springs and its sights, restaurants, and watering holes just steps away. Waze took us down the correct alley and I think was just one house off in terms of location, but the gate is well marked as 423-1/2. Melanie's place is small as advertised but certainly perfect for two and our little mini dachshund who had a great time running back and forth in the enclosed rocked area. We had everything we needed and felt very cozy and plenty warm with all the available heating options; electric fireplace is something I might look into getting myself -- very cute and effective! 5-stars all around and would definitely book again.

Had a great stay here! The one thing that kinda sucks is that there really isn’t any cell service up on the mountain. So you solely have to rely on the WiFi from the house. Make sure you write down the lockbox code before you get there so you don’t have to go back down and get signal. Overall had a beautiful fun time in Cripple Creek!

The host was excellent. When I couldn't get into the airbnb due to an error with my phone number (my fault) the host was quick to come over and let me in and resolve the problem. The treats inside the house, coffee, and all of the cookware were perfect. Spotless everything. 100% recommend the house in CO Springs. Thank you for a great place for my visit.

We couldn’t be happier with our time here. Both Jennifer and Bano are gracious, responsive, responsible, and understanding hosts. We had an extended stay during the winter months.They were quick to respond to our messages and the home was perfect for what we needed. A couple amazing stand outs: the hosts worked with us ahead of time for scheduling the extended stay, the home has its own entrance separate from the main home so it’s private, every once in a while we would get some amazing homemade bread from a local artisan, the walkway was always cleared for us when it snowed, they checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a special place, made special by the hosts. We can’t recommend this place more.

Julie’s place was everything the pictures show and more. Instantly felt at home in this beautiful space with ample room to spread out.

This a really well-appointed property with a very responsive host, making for a very comfortable and stress-free stay. The outdoor patio area was a big plus! Just perfect for 1-4 people who don't mind sharing a bathroom (door separates toilet/shower from sink area). Great info/instructions on everything in the cottage and local recommendations for hiking and dining. The ice cream shop next door is great as is the deli/sandwich shop across the street. A few other good-looking dining options within walking distance, including a more upscale restaurant. Groceries and liquor store are less than a mile away. Be sure to check out Daryl's artist studio behind the cottage! We will not hesitate to recommend this property to others and to book again if in the area. The cottage is comfortable and feels like home away from home. It had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful location and John and Rosemary have two very friendly dogs. John was very responsive to us. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this cottage if you’re traveling to Woodland Park.

I want to tell both everyone, and no one, about this place!!!! Easy entry, super private, perfect size to cozy up and get some writing done, a woodburner that loves to work, zero sound by dark, private spaces to sit outside. , Jelena and Marc were dog accommodating too! Our CO wildlife are up close and personal here, so if your puppers are HONESTLY unfamiliar/trained for it, a helpful tip, you should keep a leash on them in the yard. Nature will happen here, year round! Especially with the mule deer paths in the yard! It's glorious to watch mere feet away. A true gem!
