Private Cottage

Our Cottage does not share any space with others. It is free standing, located away from other buildings on our property. The cottage is great for a getaway, close to the mountains and town. Only 3 miles to Old Town and 1 mile to the foothills. The location is quiet and peaceful with a country feel yet close to the many wonderful adventures. Great room appeal with a large screen TV, DVD player and sofa sleeper. Full size washer and dryer in the large bathroom. Parking is next to the cottage.

Cairn Cottage is nestled in a private setting of Juniper and Pinyon Pine on a 70 acre family farm (vegies, farm fresh eggs, goats and chickens). From the peaceful setting your view down the valley is the town of Mancos 1 mile away. Cairn Cottage is very comfy and artistically appointed. Full kitchen and bathroom with shower and clean easy to use composting toilet. The living space has a king bed and a full size pull out bed, recliner, dining table, wood stove for heat and a large deck.

Kick back and relax in our retro cottage. The house is a former 1940s store front for the old apple orchard, and it has been remodeled to be a fun vacation spot that we also use regularly. Soak up that country feel while being close to downtown shopping and restaurants. You will have easy access to the Royal Gorge, rafting, climbing, hiking, and biking. The space has a great outdoor area that is decorated with local art. Sit on the front patio and enjoy watching the sunrise over the mountains.
