A private cottage on the beach in Naoshima, a sacred place for art.There are two buildings, one on the sea side and one on the mountain side, and Kai is the sea side building.You can use the free parking space on the premises, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a separate two-story building, with 6 beds in the ground floor bedroom and up to 2 futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, so you can stay between 6 and 8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used for family and friend trips, as well as for student training camps and seminar trips. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to Kikaburi, and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying in Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time on Naoshima in a room with plenty of wood, handled by a local construction shop. We have also started a Naoshima sightseeing tour for guests staying at Ohana.There are many places where you need to make reservations in advance, such as museums in Naoshima, and I hope to provide you with more fulfilling Naoshima sightseeing, such as arranging tickets, transfers by car, and sightseeing in Naoshima by bicycle rental. I've updated the photos of the room. The bunk bed in the Western-style room has been removed and replaced with two single beds. The maximum number of guests has been changed to 6. If you already have a reservation for 7 or more people, you can stay with the same number of people without any changes. Naoshima has become a tourist destination not only for Japan but also for the whole world. What changes, what doesn't. Each blends naturally, and the air flows in a way that can only be experienced in Naoshima. You'll feel it even more by staying on Naoshima. Sakura-so opened in the summer of 2014. It is a guest house with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. 5-minute walk from the center of Naoshima's Miyanoura. It is located in a very quiet place. You can stay in only one group of Teshima houses in the Seto Inland Sea. Since you are renting the whole house, you can relax and feel free without worrying about the people. It is used by a variety of people, including families, friends, and guests from abroad. One-group-per-day accommodation is run by the artist "usaginingen," who moved from Berlin to Teshima. We offer meals with homegrown vegetables and rice, delivered to your room by reservation. Near the Teshima Museum and Shima Kitchen, it offers nice views from the deck. The eco-friendly facility uses solar water heaters and panels, and includes a Finnish sauna, pizza oven, and BBQ space (reservation required). Enjoy a stay where art and nature meet. Just back of Isamu Noguchi, relax stay, rural view

This Japanese traditional house is over 100 years old and we spent over a year renovating it, incorporating African and Middle Eastern elements. It's located in the right back of the Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum, and in the middle of Yashima temple and Yakuri temple that also included in the 88 temples of the pilgrimage.Other attractions nearby include the world-famous George Nakashima Museum and Nagare Studio, so we recommend using our rooms as a base for courses for those interested in art.

Haus2354: 5 minutes walk to Ieura Port

Haus2354 is within 5 minutes walking distance from Ieura Port, the main gateway of the island. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.

Tokuto is a newly renovated private mansion built in the 1940s on Teshima. It is conveniently located about 15mins walk from Ieura Port. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns.
