The Gate Cottage. Cosy, countryside, near Stansted

The Gate Cottage sits within the curtilage of Clarance House, a beautiful 18th Century, Grade 1, Queen Anne house in the centre of Thaxted. Guests will have access via the gates of Clarance House where they will find their own hidden entrance. The Gate Cottage has recently been renovated and consists of a cosy lounge and kitchen on the top floor overlooking the beautiful Thaxted Church. On the ground floor is a plush bedroom with King size 4 poster bed and a shower room/WC just across the hall.

Stansted Airport - Beautiful Annexe with Parking

The Annexe is separate from our house with its own entrance. Basic items are provided i.e. Milk, Tea & Coffee etc. Free parking during your stay. Airport transfers available. We are in a rural location so a car may be needed. If you would like to book the night before your wedding, please contact me to confirm the details. IMPORTANT NOTE: Any anti-sociable behaviour or taking any illegal substances by any member of your group, you will all be dismissed from the property and no refunds given.

Debussys is a small family run guest house in the heart of the Essex Countryside. Close to the market town of Saffron Walden and about 20 miles from Cambridge. Stanstead Airport is about 30 minutes away. With your booking you get full access to this two bedroom cottage which includes a master double bedroom (first floor) with en-suite, a lounge and full kitchen and a second bedroom (single) - ground floor, with en-suite facilities.
