Truly a home away from home. Amazing views of Dunedin and the coast line. The property was as described. An amazing plus was the large amount of supplies in the fridge and pantry - thank you Grant!

Great location, walking to everything in the centre of Dunedin. The views from the front room are spectacular and the unit was well equipped and comfortable.

Our second time staying at Paula’s. We stayed longer this time and were able to really enjoy and appreciate everything it has to offer. It is such a bright and cheerful cottage with a large sunny deck which we utilised for morning coffee in the sun and bbq’s in the evening. We had family visit and grandchildren were able to explore the surroundings. They all felt they were on holiday even though they lived five minutes away. All this was enhanced by bird song and lavender. I would highly recommend.

If you are looking for breathtaking views all around and an escape from the noisy world, this immaculate, modern and cozy home rental is for you. The retreat exceeded our expectations and was the perfect way to experience the solace of NZ’s South Island. We felt pampered by everything — from Michelle’s generous breakfast offerings (and me being able to cook in her amazing chef’s kitchen), and the heated bathroom floors and exquisite soaking tub, to the softest sheets we’ve ever slept on and the gigantic picture windows in every room pointed directly at the Pacific Ocean beaches and green meadows and foliage all around us. Bonus was seeing the brightest stars and the Milky Way up above! We can’t wait to come back.

Was beautiful view. Small but great size for my partner and I. Homely feeling to the place. Very convenient for us. Paul is always fast to reply and very contactable. We really appreciate being able to stay 5 weeks in this home. Would definitely recommend.

This is a very nice historic building, and the apartment is well appointed with high ceilings and windows. There is a lift to whisk you to the top floor, and parking on the street is easy and inexpensive. The unit is strategically located near many of the main sights around the city. The Chinese Scholar’s Garden is located right across the street, and is a very cool place to visit. The Settler’s Museum is right next door. And don’t forget Maggie’s — an easy ten minute walk for a great breakfast — and The Duke of Wellington (a one minute walk) for a pint of beer. Cheers!

A perfect place to stay on the peninsula. 15 mins drive to central Dunedin and 5 mins to Port Chalmers. Just a short walk down to Sawyers Bay. Beautiful views. The wee unit was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I really appreciated having tea and coffee and milk provided. Thanks Trixie!

I stayed here in one of the coldest months of the year, and the room was a little cold at the beginning. However, Joyce was very helpful and and easy to talk to, and she provided an extra blanket, a better heater, and a winter cap which helped me immensely in coping with the temperature (in fact I didn't feel cold at all after that). Thank you so much.

This place is an absolute gem, I can nothing but recommend it. The moment you get into the apartment you are home away from home. Everything you need is just there. Special thanks for the breakfast items and super furbished kitchen 🙏. Communication with Antonia & Jo super easy and very friendly. Had a great time at iD Fashion, everything just in walking distance. For sure, I‘ll be back!

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The apartment is very large and equipped with everything you need. As an architect, I loved the design of the apartment:-) We would book here again. Also great for longer stays. The communication with Antonia was pleasant and good. The advance information was clear, so the access and self check in was easy. Location is perfect, very central. Many attractions are within walking distance.

Christine’s place was excellent for us, convenient for getting to our locations. No parking at the location, but easy enough to park on the street. Christine was very nice, we didn’t need anything from her but it would have been easy if we had.

our stay was fine. this is not a flash air b n b but very homey and clean and comfy which was all we needed as we were out most days .

Loved the animals (3 precious dogs and 2 cats and all the sheep and chickens) ! The place was so beautiful and clean and the bath tub was much needed after a long day of hiking. Croissants for breakfast were awesome too. Thanks Joanne and Bryce!

The house is in a great location, quiet and convenient. The house is fully equipped and clean. The landlord, Ms. Gina, is warm and friendly. She personally received us and introduced us to travel tips. I especially thank her for getting up in the morning to prepare breakfast for us. It's very heartwarming. I recommend it!

We had the most wonderful time at Sally’s and Keri’s place. It is located in beautiful surroundings, lots of nature and places to visit the sea and take a walk. The hot tub should win an award for “most beautiful view from a hot tub”. With unmatched hospitality, great breakfast and the friendliest dog we can not recommend this place enough. Absolutely the best airbnb stay we've ever had. If you love animals, great views over the Pacific ocean and a welcoming host, you have to stay at Greg's. Greg's warm hospitality is amazing, with his freshly baked bread and tour around his property to greet all his animals. He even prepared food for us to feed the alpacas and Dallas the horse, really allowing us to experience a farm stay. Also Buster the cat is always there in the morning waiting outside our door to greet us. A super friendly purring machine. Icing on the cake will be the gorgeous clifftop ocean views just in his backyard, which we got to catch the stunning sunrise on a clear day. Location wise is a convenient 15 min drive to central town, easily reachable. Room itself was cosy with enough privacy to ourselves. Thank you once again for being so friendly yet never intrusive. It was lovely too to meet his daughter Nicole and his cute grandkids. Highly recommend!

Doug and Rose were really friendly and made us feel so welcome in their home. It can be awkward sharing space in someone's house but we found plenty in common and felt very comfortable.We had an awesome view from our bedroom window and really appreciated the bathroom so close to our room and the hall nightlight to find our way. When it rained on the Sunday morning we loved spending time in the living room reading books and looking out over the estuary. It was also great to be able to arrive slightly ahead of check in and to have a flexible checkout. An added bonus was getting to see Doug's band perform in Oamaru. We loved our stay and hope to be back again for another visit in the future.

We loved our stay with Ulrike and Manfred. Very personal, incredible breakfasts, picked us up and dropped us at the ferry, took us on a walk, recommended things to do on the island, attended to all our needs and were lovely to spend time with. Highly recommend a stay at Jensen House.
