At Christiane's in Tikehau

AlexRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Christiane is a genuine and sweet person who we had the pleasure of meeting on our trip to Tahiti. She demonstrates perfect hospitality, respect for space and privacy, but eagerness to make friends, chat, and give tips about the island. Small details like towels, soap, eggs and bread, kayaks, etc provided made being on a remote island so comfortable. Being far from a city and shops can be daunting, but Christiane's place adds the comfort and ease you would usually sacrifice for the tradeoff of a secluded and remote island.

Cozy lodge In a home

AlexandruRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Overall , a great place in Rangiroa. This place is directly on the Beach (well, not much of a sand Beach now but the sea is there), completely private, About 2 km away from the airport and the local shop. Tera'i did this Beach house for own use and you could see the care and details. It is a large veranda with kitchen and dining table, and then one double bed and a single bed. Enough space for us 3, 2 adults and one child. Everything was inside the bathroom and kitchen, soap, salt, pepper, drinking water. You do not need a car, we were renting bikes from the owner and they were in good shape and enough to travel the motu. The host Tera'i is a very educated, kind and hospitable person, and our discussions and change of ideas (from people from opposite parts of the world) were the highlight. We travel not only to see beautiful places but also for understanding things, people, local politics. All in all, could not recommend this place more. Price was very good also 😁 Thank you Tera'i!

Sea View Bungalow

ChristelRating, 5 stars24 months ago
One thing must be clear that you only have to go for 30 minutes by boat. Which was almost always a nut bowl with us and therefore adventurous. Arrived at the Motu we were accommodated in a bungalow with a sea view. We were very pleased. The bungalow is simple but clean. To cool our drinks, we were able to use the refrigerator in the restaurant. Here you could also have the meals for an extra cost. Simple but quite ok. There is no shop. The Motu has the flair of a Robinson Crusoe Island. A wonderful place to slow down. We felt very comfortable. Stephane and his staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Tikehau - Private Islet/ Fare miro

ThibaudRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a dreamy family stay on this beautiful island. Robert and his employees were very welcoming and helpful. The island is truly idyllic, and we were able to do a lot of activities like Kayak, the Fishing, walks on the reef and being able to admire majestic sunsets. The bungalow offers all the comforts you need, and stunning views of the Tikehau lagoon. Whether as a couple, with friends or family, this is really the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of nature. We look forward to returning. Thanks to Robert, Manu, Ben and Vaea for your hospitality and kindness. See you soon.

Comfortable bungalow in the heart of the village

NicolasRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We had a pleasant stay in an accommodation as described. Located not far from snacks and convenience stores, which is handy to spend a few days without having to use a vehicle. Tarepa who will welcome you upon arrival is extremely kind and very available. He will know how to give you tips and directions to make your stay a pleasant one. We recommend this address.

KoriKori House Fakarava ( FARE BNB1)

HervéRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The place is remarkable, on the edge of the lagoon where you can swim and enjoy the canoes available free of charge like bikes to get to the village 4km away. Turia and her husband were very welcoming when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Indeed we did not notice that on Sundays everything is closed but Turia organized with her sister-in-law so that she would welcome us for dinner, when it would have been necessary to notify the day before. Accommodation is nice, with good bedding. It's well ventilated, with screens on the windows. As on many islands, there is no drinking water network. Locals have remarkable water management by collecting rainwater, but it is not drinkable for our unaccustomed organisms. Turia was very good advice for our trips on the lagoon to remarkable sites. Fakarava is a real paradise including for those who don't dive, practicing only snorkeling like us.
