The staff at the Morris Thompson Cultural Center keep the explorefairbanks.com website up to date with a full year-round event calendar; tour information; tips on seeing the northern lights in season (Sept - March) including a personalized Aurora Certificate for those who do!, dog mushing and ice art information; summer tips on getting the most out of midnight sun activities, transportation, trails, road trips, etc. They publish the Official Fairbanks Visitor Guides and have staff on hand all year to answer questions. Paved trail to downtown and pedestrian bridge over the river. Great photo ops.
