Great interactive science center, food court, gift shop and bus tour of the enormous satellite dishes.

They have tours of the Telescopes that are a lot of fun. It is also a nice place to go hiking or biking that is on the valley bottom. That makes the hiking mostly flat.

Green Bank Observatory is home to one of the largest radio telescopes on Earth. Just 30 minutes East of Snowshoe, Radio astronomers from around the world come to Green Bank to conduct their research. The science center at Green Bank is a great place for people of all ages to learn about radio astronomy!
