Why locals recommend it
Run by a Japanese lady named Moko and a Lebanese guy named Omar, this neighborhood place looks more like a casual café, but they produce high-quality dishes. Everything is made fresh: the coffee, the bread, the cookies, and the cuisine. Don’t expect a fast lunch, but it’s delicious and worth the wait. You can reserve a table for lunch. In fact, they prefer it, because they only have about 20 seats. Don’t forget to try a cookie like peanut butter and chocolate or black olive confit and white chocolate.

Tips from locals
A very small but trendy restaurant with extraordinary Mediterranean flavours. Not cheap but acclaimed by all Parisian foodistas
A former Yam’Tcha chef opened up Mokonuts, an eat-in or take-away bakery; their breakfast and their lunch is excellent.
Great Libanese/Japanese fusion restaurant, loved by the foodies and a true local spot. All this just two steps from the appartment! The owners are adorables and working hard to serve you local and quality lunches. You can also grab a cappucino and witness them cooking or their daughter sketching ;), they always have nice blends. Careful they are closed on the week end and catering special events only for dinner.
