This trailhead is 20-25 minutes north of the cottage and is a 2.9 mile out and back trail. There are a couple of viewpoints to check out and the main trail ends at Short Sands Beach, a popular surfing spot within Oswald West State Park. I recommend looking it up on AllTrails to be sure you know where you’re heading.

Our Pick: This is in the same area from Short Sands beach area but hikes south to Devil's cauldron. Also a great spot with a good view.
