Dubois, WY: The $100 million, 140,000 square-foot National Museum of Military Vehicles (NMMV) has been recognized as one of the 10 best new attractions in the U.S. for 2020. The museum houses over 450 tanks, jeeps, and landing craft, all restored, the largest collection of military vehicles in the world. Its primary focus is on vehicles from World War II and the U.S.-involved military conflicts in Korea and Vietnam. A walk-in "Unknown Soldiers Weapons Vault" displays hundreds of guns, including the one that fired the first shot in the Revolutionary War in 1775." 6419 US Highway 26, Dubois, WY Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Admission: Adults $15.

This is one of the best military museums in the United States with free interpretive tours done by founder Dan Starks daily.
