It sat on the corner of Highway 90 and Highway 190 and was frequented by traveler's when Highway 90 was the main road from New Orleans to the Mississippi coast. The preserve offers beautiful views of nature, including trees, land and water animals, and birds. It's not maintained as well as it should be, but it's still worth checking out.
