ABOUT In 2017, the old Power Plant Museum in Tafjord was rebuilt into an exciting Power and Landslide Center: Wild Forces. Here you will find several family-friendly activities such as indoor climbing, escape rooms and an extremely high rappelling. In addition, the center has several active and passive installations and activities related to information dissemination of the Tafjord accident in 1934, hydropower development of the Tafjord watercourse and landslide activity. Here you can play with, learn about and experience the forces of nature through our adapted exhibitions and activities. In other words, this is a fun and rewarding activity for both big and small! The center is connected to adapted hiking trails, and a visit to us can be combined with mountain hikes or other activities in Tafjord and Tafjordfjella. The Tafjord is on UNESCO's world heritage list and the drive from Valldal to Tafjord is in itself a spectacular experience. OPENING HOURS Kraft og Skredsenter3 Jul 2021 - 8 Aug 2021 Monday - Sunday 10:00 - 17:00 * The center can be opened on request for private groups.
