If you're looking for some outside time, but a little closer to the AirBNB -- this is the place to go. You will love the Tennessee Gardens, right UT campus. If you love gardens and nature, this is a great pick.

The University of Tennessee Gardens are the official botanical gardens of the state of Tennessee. The closest location to the Smoky Mountains is at UT Knoxville, with additional locations in Jackson and Crossville Tennessee. Each garden is open in all seasons and are completely free to explore. The UT Gardens are great to visit for a walk, picnic or even one of the educational events that they host throughout the year.
