The grocery store is less than 2 blocks walk... perfect!

Not biggest, but closest. A fair organic veg selection. Large local beer array but high price for wine and poor selection. (Go to Von's on Garnet for wine!) Walk: 2 min.

It is now called Haggen's and carries lots of local and organic items, very convenient to shop for groceries.
