A train line runs through the Gold Coast Hinterland linking Brisbane with the Gold Coast with stations at Nerang, Robina and Varsity Lakes. Although it isn't on a main interstate rail line, there are frequent Citytrain services into Brisbane. Bus 750 goes to Surfers Paradise from Robina Station.
