MAS will take you everywhere for free. In the summer, put your bike on the tram and head up to the lakes. In winter, check schedule, but I believe it comes every 15 minutes and it goes all over town, including lifts/village.

Red's Meadow has a general store, restaurant and A-frame cabins. There are many hiking trails around Red's Meadow including a trail to Rainbow Falls (1.5 mi round trip) and Devil's Postpile (4.8 miles round trip). You MUST take the Reds Meadow Shuttle bus. Tickets are $7.00 for adults, $4.00 for children over the age of 3, and children 2 and under are free.

Epic walk through nature. You can see Devil's Postpile within half mile and Rainbow Falls in a 5 mile round trip walk. This is a trail, no amenities, except for beautiful views. We recommend getting there before the park opens at 7am, otherwise you have to take a bus in.
