A small isolated beach near the north part of the island. When there is north wind there are a lot of waves and i wouldn't recommend visiting, however the days that there is south wind or no wind the beach turns into one of the most beautiful places of the island. The sunset there is absolutely stuning!

Amitis is a northern and quiet beach. You can combine the village of Eggares, the oil museum and food in the Stella Tavern. It is not an organized beach and you will need to have water and food with you.

Location: 11 km north of Chora Description: Amitis is a small, isolate beach on the way from Chora to Apollonas. It doesn't have many visitors, while the wind is strong sometimes.
