Home of the Grey family (Earl Grey tea) with lovely gardens and walks to the sea
The home Earl Grey so you best be sure to have the tea here. Great tea room and beautiful park with woodland activities for the kids too. The Aboretum covers 65 acres with around 11,000 trees and shrubs and virtually all of it has been grown from seed collected in the wild since 1985. Divided into two parts The West is much smaller and adjacent to the gardens whilst the east is much bigger and quite hilly so not suitable for wheelchairs. The garden has snowdrop walks, squirrel walks a bog and woodland walks. This is a full day out adventure open all year from 10.30 - 6pm from March till September (winter season 10.30 - 4pm) entry is £7 per person no dogs allowed unless needed for assistan
