Steve Grimley owned this office building for a few years and called it home on weekends when he and his family ventured away from the vines. Now it's home to a boutique bottle shop and cellar door, with a friendly corner-store mentality. The walls are clad in recycled timber boxes made by Kindling Furniture and brushed with white typography. Fleurieu Peninsula wines tower from floor to ceiling, giving you the opportunity to dabble in blends by several winemakers, including 5OS’s “home brand”. There’s also the option of Villere coffee, roasted on-site in McLaren Vale. Staff will crack open bottles so you can taste before you buy. Our gorgeous local wine bar. Buy wine at cellar door prices and drink on site or take away. You won’t be disappointed. A short walk away across from the Gilbert Hotel.
