One of the most famous gay bars in the area. Tables outside are the main draw, and there is always a good atmosphere. Great whether you are gay or straight, you should stop in here at least once!

Almost every night out on Cape Town's pink strip will start at Cafe Manhattan. Even though it's been around since the dawn of gay time in the city, its fairly recent facelift has given it a fun, exciting feel. Doubling up as a burger restaurant during the day and early evenings, it's a good spot to meet locals before dancing the night away at nearby Crew, Beulah or over in the East City at Babylon or Zer021.
