Historic site with the initials of George Washington carved in the rock from when he was a surveyor early in his career
One of the most beautiful state parks in VA, this is a site to behold! The park hosts thousands every month to see the glorious views looking up at the natural bridge. Easy walk, lovely visitor center, and so much more are here. Bring a picnic, enjoy the outdoors!
Great place to hike and visit a cool rock formation. A lot of local history with this place. It was privately owned until about five years ago and is now part of Virginia State Parks system with a resulting better experience and lower costs. Check out the website for details on operating times and costs.
