Why locals recommend it

Late-night frivolity and rock ‘n’ roll at its finest. They serve a great margherita by the slice and a good showing of craft beer. It looks Italian from the front, with red-and-white checked tables, but everything else screams rock ‘n’ roll, from classic to metal, which they often do live. Go late, but before the 1:30 am lockouts so you get in. Out the back, through the fire escape, is another little secret bar you can hang out at. Most general punters wouldn’t know it’s there. You’d think it was the bathroom.

It may be a pizza joint but walk through the swing doors and you will find yourself in a nightclub - depending on the night there may be live music

Our favourite outing for a good night of rock live music and drinks. It doesn't get much more authentic than that and is just a bus ride to and from the city!

Awesome late night Pizza bar in the heart of the city. Alternate crowd and rocknroll is generally the theme.

Frankie's Pizza, enter down the stairs and step back to the early 80's decked out in Frank's family's memorabilia order a pizza by the slice and a beer or my favourite vodka and fresh apple juice. Head out to the back bar for a dose of 80's rock and play the pinball machines or if your feeling adventurous head down to the hidden Frankie's fun room.... (walk to the back of the bar next to the stage go through the fire escape and down the spiral stairs.... so much fun to be had....)
