Not far from Boca Catalina there is a small cove with a rustic set of stairs (Tres Trapi means 3 steps) leading to a charming little beach. Tres Trapi is unique for all of the colorful starfish you will find there when snorkeling as well as for the turtles that like to pass by and eat. Be sure not to touch them and admire them from a safe distance.

Spot mostly for the locals, crystal clear waters and 3 steps carved into the coral stone to get into the water. A must.

It is located 19 minutes by car (12.1 km). Located in the northern part of the island, past the high-rise hotels. Tres Trapi means “three steps” in Papiamento, it is an incredible place to take pictures, since it is a rocky structure that has steps towards the sea. It is also used for snorkeling, going into the ocean to see corals and turtles.
