Cassowaries in the wild on the beach. Great fish chips and salad for lunch at the caravan cafe.

Pack a picnic, be sun smart and have a brilliant day at the beach. Ice cream from the little cafe goes down really well after some sea, sun and surf!

A beautiful place to take a relaxing walk, no dogs are allowed due to the Cassowaries. Drive carefully on the way out to Etty Bay as you can often come across cassowaries on the road. There are toilets, a small convenience store, caravan park and life saving club. During stinger season a net is put out for swimming. Be aware of possible crocodile sightings. There is no mobile reception once you enter Etty Bay.
