The Bergschrund Taproom for NW Peaks Brewery in Ballard has been used as a tavern since the end of Prohibition. The old wood bar and cozy atmosphere is a great setting for some truly wonderful beers. Kevin, owner and brewer, brews beers in the traditional English and German styles. You are still going to be able to enjoy a great Northwest IPA as well as rotating selections of English Ales such as the Redoubt Red, the Stuart Stout and a Vespers ESP, and some wonderful German inspired Hefeweizens, and Bocks. This is one of the few taprooms with a small kitchen for pizzas. sandwiches, nachos and snacks. Children and dogs are welcome as long as they stay away from the bar area. There are wine, cider and soft drinks for your non-beer drinking friends. A wonderful time to visit any time of the year.

NW Peaks Brewery is a” nano-brewery” located in Ballard. As a nano-brewery, we make less than one barrel of beer per batch and therefore cannot produce nearly the quantity as other breweries around. Kid friendly.
