This is a great spot for nature lovers, you can gaze at the ocean views and observe the large variety of plants. The Mata dos Medos (Forest of Fears in english) is inserted in the Protected Landscape Arriba Fossil of Costa da Caparica, carved by the violence of the ocean waves and the whim of the various erosive elements, since after the emergence of the continents. This area was sent to plant by King John V, with the aim of fixing the sand dunes - the fears - invading agricultural land of the interior. If the day is sunny, come by bicycle. The body thanks you and the environment too. There are 338 hectares of forest to discover, made of smells, colors, sounds, and stunning views of the sea.

Large woods on the cliff above Fonte da Telha beach inserted in a protected landscape called Arrabida Fossil da Costa da Caparica. It a great spot to take a walk or a run and the woods, you can also explore on bikes. We recommend the amazing ocean views and view of the cliff beach and Fonte da Telha beach.
