There is truly nothing like a French brunch. If you want the quality croissant you deserve or the pain au chocolat you desperately need, then you can have it at La Cafette in Williamsburg. The French have given us so many delicious delicacies; it’s hard to decide which one to choose. At this place, you won’t have to pretend you’re anything but a hungry, borderline Francophile to get fed. For those of us who want that perfectly cooked and shaped egg, no one does it quite like the French. You can’t go wrong when ordering the Croque Madame if you love a breakfast sandwich. There are also options of rotisserie chicken, a delicious french toast, roasted potatoes, and granola. The atmosphere is inviting and quaint, with not much seating inside. You may have to sit at the bar if you arrive during peak brunching hours. However, the owner is nothing but nice and will be an accommodating presence in this harsh, New York world.
