If you happen to be here on the third Saturday of the month, you'll be dazzled by the stars at the Paul & Jane Meyer Observatory. Mega telescope viewing under an impressive retractable dome on clear nights; other activities offered on cloudy evenings. Check out their website for detaIls.

Every month the observatory hosts an open house in which you can get an introduction to astronomy via the in-house, 24-inch Ritchey-Chretien telescope, the same type of configuration as the Hubble Telescope.
