Grau du Roi (beach of kings) is a typical bustling Mediterranean port right next to Aigues-Mortes, with lovely beaches, loads of sea activities, including many boat trips and oodles of lovely restaurants to enjoy. If you love seafood then you can gorge yourself on local produce here. the beaches are very youngster-friendly as the sea-break in the harbour keeps the waters calm and the shelf of the beach is very shallow. You can hire pedalos with slides on them by the hour to have fun too! you will often find huge sandcastles being made, while just down the coast at L'Espighette is a wilder, less occupied beach, but beware that about a further kilometre down the road there is a nudist colony!

Plusieurs plage pour passer une journée au bord de la Méditerranée : la grande motte, la petite motte, l'espiguette, le grau du roi, Palavas, Sète...un peu de route pour s'y rendre mais tellement agréable. Avant le covid les mercredis soirs en été,un concours de feux d'artifice etait visible des plages de la grande motte. A voir sur le page fb s'ils auront lieu cet été pour le plus grand bonheur des petits et des grands!
