The Half Moon is quite a famous pub in the area as it has live music theatre in the back which has a full schedule of artists throughout the year. Food is okay but tend to go for a drink rather than to eat.

This pub is famous for its music. It's where many famous bands started off.

Excellent live music venue within easy reach from the flat. The pub is good for dinner before entertainment too.

Rock 'n' roll pub, where The Who, U2 and Rolling Stones played, for live bands, singers and comedy.

When it comes to the best of live music in Putney, there's rarely a name that can offer it quite like Half Moon can. Mixed between classic British pub and classic music venue, Half Moon promises punters the very best of both worlds.

“Great pub along the river. Brilliant in the summer as everyone takes their drinks down by the river and the embankment is buzzing with activity & fun. There is a separate restaurant which does slightly smarter food then just pub food. ”

“Very large grocery store, reasonable prices. Just off Putney High Street. Not as high quality as Waitrose but good overall and usually open until 9pm other than Sunday when it closes very early about 5pm.”

Pie Shop
“This place does the BEST British pies! The top floor is a superb restaurant and if you fancy a dance and some drinks after dinner, you can go downstairs to the qwerky underground bar which is the same of a tunnel and has an outdoor area looking onto the Thames.”
