The Fauntleroy Terminal in West Seattle provides auto and passenger services to Vashon Island and Southworth. Southworth is a jump off point to exploring the Olympic Peninsula

Take the easy ferry ride over to Vashon Island for some bike riding, lavendar fields and the slower pace of island living. OR take the Southworth ferry to access the outlying towns and westward to the Olympic National Forest.

Taking a ferry trip is a must to take in the flavor of Seattle. Fauntleroy terminal is just a few minutes away or you can take the Bainbridge Island ferry which leaves from Seattle.

You can walk on the ferry and take an 15 minute trip over to Vashon Island and then ride back. The view is incredible, including Mt. Rainier.
