Myddfai community hall is well worth a visit, just five minutes up the hill from North Lodge. Community project and art centre, the hall has a lovely cafe which makes great light lunches and afternoon teas (and we provide the coffee). There is an amazing little shop filled with locally made crafts of a very high standard. The stained glass window in the hall is worth a look, and there is also the story of the Lady of the Lake to read about here.

Stop and have a coffee and plan your walk around the lake. Prince Charles has his Welsh residence here in this beautiful location. Stunning views.

Open Wednesday and Friday to Sunday 11am - 4pm. Just yards (3 minute walk) from VanAnn this cafe along with its craft shop is open during the day. Volunteers (including me!) help run this local community space. Food is basic but well prepared and includes locally made chutneys and jams and cake plus cawl (Welsh soup) A Farmer's Market is held once a month - usually on the last Sunday of every month. A talk on the local history centred around the Physicians of Myddfai and their legendary mother - the Lady of the Lake - can be arranged. The price generally includes a typical welsh tea with bara brith ( a tea bread) and welsh cakes.
