Many of us from Teruel spend our summer at the Sagunto beach, just a 45 minute drive from Teruel, on your way to Valencia. It is also home to a castle, Roman amphitheatre and more

The town still contains several reminders of the Roman occupation, including the 1stcentury AD Roman theatre. Is now used for Sagunt’s annual theatre festival. AND the ruins of the castle.
