Short but scenic hiking trail.

This is the closest hiking spot and a fairly nice short hike. You start with a long metal staircase down to a small waterfall. At the bottom there is a wetlands area that used to be a water reservoir for Bloomington. Great wildlife watching. Parking is extremely limited, so sometimes we park along the road at the entryway of the subdivision across and up the road a bit.

This is a great little hike - just a 1.1 mile loop, and a great place to see karst features. There are a lot of stairs at the very beginning of the hike, but otherwise it's not a difficult hike.

If you can do stairs this has a wonderful natural setting, running water limestone quarry backdrop. FREE A nice place to let the kids run off extra energy. WATCH closely for the sign sometimes vines overgrow it.
