Wonderful with or without children, changing attractions such as the Snowdrop Walks and Shakespearean productions in the keep

CASTLE - largely considered to be the best preserved, Norman keep in England. The castle fortifications and outbuildings were built by the de Veres family in the late 11th and early 12th centuries.... NOTE: While Hedingham Castle remains a family home, the Norman keep and grounds are open to the public from Easter to October. => www.hedinghamcastle.co.uk

Traces it's routes back to the 11th century. Very interesting and worth a visit. Events, such as jousting are often held here.
