Tips from locals
The Aurelian Walls built in the 3rd century AD to defend an expanding Rome. These magnificent walls pass very close to the flat.
The only section of the Aurelian Walls that is still walkable is located between Porta S. Sebastiano and the Bastione Ardeatino. The best preserved and most majestic monument is the Porta San Sebastiano, which serves as a museum and is open to the public, including its stunning panoramic terrace.
