The Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee features the famous jumping frog competition, inspired by Mark Twain's story: The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras, and takes place over 4 days on the third weekend in May. It is also the longest running county fair in California.
Held the 3rd weekend every May. One of the longest running events in California dating back to 1893. This is a treasure of an old county fair where you can experience the Frog Jump made world famous by Mark Twain. There's yummy food, carnival rides, live music, exhibits, livestock and a rodeo. This is fun for the whole family.
