Philips Animal Garden (www.philipsanimalgarden.com) is an animal farm 10 minutes (4.7 km) drive in light traffic from Barcelo Aruba. It is names after Philip Merryweather who at age 12 created a haven for neglected and abused exotic animals. Some of the animals include, jaguarundis, potbelly pigs, Shetland ponies, rattlesnakes, capuchin monkeys, caymans, bengal cats, alpacas, cattle, red kangaroos, skunks, donkeys, mules, pigs, ocelots, boa constrictors, Burmese pythons, axis deer, and Nigerian dwarf goats.

This place is great to visit with the entire family, where you get to meet different exotic animals. After years of saving and adopting abused and abandoned animals, Philip Merryweather has turned his love for exotic animals into a world-class shelter and rehabilitation center. Philip’s Animal Garden is offering up interactive and educational tours, where you can enjoy an up-close and personal experience with over 50 species of exotic animals from around the world. Visitors are invited to see, touch and even feed some of the garden’s exotic inhabitants. Tours are offered every half hour between 9am to 5pm, seven days a week.
