A 15 minute drive from Kyneton is the famous Hanging Rock. An easy to moderate walk around the base or up to the top, remember to call out for Miranda on the way. Has a great little cafe near the car park.

The site of Joan Lindsay's famous story 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'. Lots of local wildlife including birds, kangaroos, rock wallabies and koalas.

A walk up hanging rock is always great for the whole family. Be aware that the walk up is quite steep, but still suitable for kids. Great views from the top!

Fantastic views from the top of this geographical wonder. Easy walking paths for all fitness levels. Good cafe at the base.
